“NWA EmPowerrr“, the first ever all-women card by the promotion, is held at the historic Chase Park Plaza, followed by the 73rd Anniversary Show on the next day. Trevor Murdoch defeats Nick Aldis for the world heavyweight title and is congratulated by the former champion Ric Flair.

NWA announces the new NWA All Access package on FITE TV.

2-night PPV “Crockett Cup 2022” is held. The Heatseekers (Elliott Russell & Matt Sigmon), the last world tag team champions who have been stripped of the title upon the NWA brand acquisition by Billy Corgan in 2017, lose in the qualifying match. Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe defeat the Commonwealth Connection (Doug Williams & Harry Smith) in the tournament final. Homicide wins the reinstated world junior heavyweight title by defeating Austin Aries, Colby Corino, and Darius Lockhart in the 4-way final of the 13-man tournament.

NWA 74 anniversary cards are held at the historic Chase Park Plaza. Kamille defends the world women’s title on both nights against Taya Valkyrie in the main event on 27th and Max the Impaler on 28th. Trevor Murdoch defends the world heavyweight title against the world television champion Tyrus in the main event on 28th.
